Transformation is more than a promise, it’s a choice you make every day

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight — it’s built through challenges, learning, and constant growth. At Santex, we invested in our Hackathon that pushed us forward as a team. Read the blog to explore how we’re evolving together.

In the years ahead, organizations must keep moving, learning, and self-improving in order to succeed. That’s the spirit behind our Santex Hackathon: a space for our teams to make mistakes, discover new tools, and prepare for a future as uncertain as it is exciting.

We’re rewriting the rulebook in real time.

Big data and AI have shaken everything up, and we’re still waiting for the dust to settle. Except we can’t wait. We need to move.

We need to find our way through the dust of uncertainty, redefining our businesses and reskilling our workforce.

I view transformation as a long-term process, a series of small steps. Every project, learning program, and new tool pushes us forward a little bit.

And before you know it, your organization is better and more resilient than ever.

Our year of becoming better

At Santex, we’re committed to lifelong learning and continued improvement.

I truly believe that technology is nothing by itself. It needs human creativity to put it into motion and fulfill its potential.

Yet for that to happen, technology must be understandable and accessible to everyone. So we can empower more people to imagine more ways of using technology for good.

At Santex, we’re putting these ideas into practice.

This year, we devoted over 9000 hours into upskilling and learning programs related to AI, data, and digital tools. For us, learning is a way of life.

The road ahead might be uncertain. But with enough training, and a little help from our friends and colleagues, I think we can find a way.

And even have fun in the process.

Putting learning to use at the Santex Hackathon

A few weeks ago, 75% of our company came together to explore the potential of AI.

Split into 35 teams, they workshopped, ideated, prototyped, and pitched brand-new apps or platforms.

Although all of them leveraged AI, they covered a variety of use cases: solutions for logistics companies, agricultural businesses, developers, project managers, even friends looking to book a paddle court.

That’s what the Hackathon is all about. It’s a playground where participants can let their imaginations roam free.

Yet the goal is serious. And it leads to the heart of Santex.

For starters, the apps and platforms pitched at the Hackathon are actually useful. They’re aimed at real users in the real world. We always strive to bring tangible, concrete value to clients and society as a whole.

Beyond that, the Hackathon allowed participants to test the limits of AI, as they collaborated and applied solutions in real time.

Yet more than skills, participants trained on a mindset.

They practiced agility, flexibility, teamwork, and efficiency, preparing for the challenges ahead.

A view to the future

Santex is growing, in Latin America and beyond.

We’re working with more clients in more countries. Just recently, we opened up a whole new base of operations in Mexico. And we’re doing more business than ever before throughout Latin America.

Yet if we want to keep growing, we need to keep learning, whether through upskilling programs or events like the Santex Hackathon.

Because this learning is what allows us to innovate.

Behind all our most exciting projects, is untold time spent testing, iterating, and making mistakes.

From this experience, magic is born.

Take SAM, a state-of-the-art AI assistant that acts as our ambassador on our website. Or Impact Score, a tool that allows developers to measure the impact and simplicity of their code, as they’re writing it.

Or all the work we’re doing at Santex Lab, sitting besides clients to experiment, launch, and scale AI solutions.

This is how we’re rewriting the rulebook. Through trial and error, lifelong learning, and the willingness to reimagine ourselves.

Because transformation is always on the move.

Always learning,
Walter
