2025: A Year of Growing With Purpose
In 2025, Santex continued to grow and lead the conversation on AI, ethical leadership, and digital sovereignty. Discover how we put people at the center of innovation and what it means for the future of tech.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve continued to expand our business, putting humans at the center and promoting an ethical approach to AI. Let’s look at the highlights of a year as challenging as it was rewarding.
We live in uncertain times, with industries and organizations scrambling to adapt to new technologies and markets. In this context, it can be difficult to see the path ahead. Which way is on the right side of history?
At Santex, we’ll always let our core principles guide us.
We’re convinced that innovation is about more than profits, efficiency, or bottom lines. It’s also about benefitting people, society, and the planet. We work every day to make the world a better place and bring about a future we actually want to live in.
Changing the world, one conversation at a time
However, if we really want to make an impact, we know we can’t do it alone.
That’s why, at Santex, we always look to spark dialogue and debate. We strive to encourage a wider discussion with clients, partners, and even competitors. Beyond cutting-edge products and solutions, it’s really visionary ideas that will push us ahead.
With this in mind, our CEO, Juan Santiago, has engaged in ongoing conversations with industry leaders and government officials around the globe:
Back in January, he participated in the CAF Economic Forum in Panama, speaking about the challenges and responsibilities of the private sector in the Latin American region.
In September, he gave a talk at LIDE’s Digital Tech Forum, spurring audiences to look past the AI hype and discover how this technology can deliver real impact.
In November, Santiago took part in a panel discussion at the ABECEB Forum, emphasizing how technology means more than innovation, but also power and national sovereignty in a digital world.
And to keep the conversation going, we launched STX Talks.
In this podcast, Juan Santiago, Walter Abrigo, and other Santex leaders regularly exchange ideas with tech thinkers, industry figures, and leadership mentors, including sociologist Milagros Miceli and basketball coach Julio Lamas.
Each session, freely available on YouTube, is a safe space where both host and guest can reflect on the past, diagnose the present, and imagine the future, covering topics such as human-centered AI, ethical leadership, regional growth, and more.
Walking the talk, in Latin America and beyond
Encouraging a healthy discourse is only part of our mission. For our actions to match our words, our initiatives and solutions need to speak for themselves.
That’s why, during 2025:
We devoted over 9000 hours into upskilling and learning programs related to AI, data, and digital tools, helping our collaborators expand their career opportunities and future-proof their skillsets.
Hosted the Santex Hackathon, which brought together 75% of our company to ideate real and truly-useful AI solutions for our clients.
Launched Impact Score, an AI-powered platform that evaluates the technical and business value of a software product, even while it’s still being programmed.
Earned second place at the Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab Hackathon, with our Harvey AI platform that improves clinical decision-making.
Together with Amazon Web Services, we explored how to move AI from concept to tangible business impact in an exclusive workshop.
We organized an AI workshop for the Argentine Chamber of Biotechnology, led by Laura Alonso Alemany, Computer Science Professor at UNC and AI expert.
Promoted diversity and inclusion in the workplace, sitting down with other organizations, such as SAP, Sancor Seguros, AmCham, and Alianza Panaacea-Excelsium, to rethink the role of neurodivergent talent in the current job market.
Received a Special Mention at the FLOR Awards for our diversity efforts.
Had an employee turnover rate of just 8%, below the industry average.
Participated in TEDxUTNCórdoba with a talk by Walter Abrigo, Santex Partner and General Director, titled, “Spirituality and technology: an experiment that changed my life.”
Strengthened our ecosystem of international alliances, both at the academic level — collaborating with Duke University, University of Washington, and the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University — and the business level, partnering with Nvidia and AWS.
The National University of Córdoba added xAcademy’s QA program to its academic offerings, as a free diploma course. This is another milestone for our Technology with Purpose Foundation, which launched xAcademy to promote employability and inclusion among disadvantaged youths, allowing them to access the training they need to secure a position in the IT world.
Published our 2024 Sustainability Report, celebrating how we’ve become a Carbon Positive company, as we collaborate with partners to establish more sustainable business practices.
Organized more than 150 workshops, courses, mentorships, and webinars via our Technology with Purpose Foundation, providing learning spaces for over 15,000 people in Latin America.
Expanded the scope of our AI League for Good. We organized and participated in dozens of events, sponsorships, workshops, and more, reaching over 200 business leaders, 800 public officials, and 1000 teachers, youths, and information workers. Together, we discussed the opportunities and risks of AI, and how to ethically adopt this technology in Latin America.
Hosted a talk with Milagros Miceli, one of the 100 most influential people in AI according to TIME magazine. She was joined by Juan Santiago and Walter Abrigo at our Buenos Aires offices, where she discussed the real costs of AI and how we can use this technology in a more ethical, responsible way.
All these achievements have something in common: they were only possible thanks to our collaborators, partners, and clients.
Moving into 2026, together
At Santex, we want to keep growing our family.
For years, we’ve been expanding our presence in the region, with our headquarters in the province of Córdoba and offices in San Diego, Lima, and, since last April, Buenos Aires.
We also strengthened our presence in Mexico, with in situ operations there. And we tripled the amount of business we’re doing through STX Lab, just one year after its launch. Thanks to these efforts, we recently entered the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America.
All these achievements demonstrate that, with fearlessness, talent, effort, and creativity, you can achieve whatever you set out to do. And in 2026, we’re not planning on slowing down. Because imagining a better future is a daily and collective responsibility.
Every conversation we inspire, every solution we offer, and every learning space we open up is an attempt to invent a future we want to share with others. Because the future will either contain us all or cast us all out.
That’s why everything we do is an invitation to create, build, and imagine together. That’s the Santex way.
