One connected operation, from order to delivery
Santex worked closely with a logistics company to develop a platform that brings its orders, fleet operations, and driver workflows together.
The goal was to give its operations team a shared view of the operation, from the initial transport request and pricing to vehicle assignment, tracking, and arrival records.
By connecting ERP records, telemetry, fleet data, and a dedicated driver app, the platform brings office coordination and on-road activity into the same workflow.

Knowing where a truck is only answers part of the question
Dispatch teams need to know how to price a transport request, which vehicle can take the next order, and whether a driver has reached each stop. The information needed to answer those questions lives across different systems. Orders and commercial records sit in the ERP. Location and vehicle signals come from tracking tools. Driver updates provide another part of the picture.
The challenge was to connect these sources around the same vehicles, drivers, and trips, and make that complexity manageable for the people using the platform.
For dispatchers, that meant clear visibility across the operation. For drivers, it meant a simple mobile experience that supports their working day without adding unnecessary steps.

A shared view for the office and the road
The platform connects order management, pricing, fleet and driver records, tracking, and reporting through a shared integration hub. Vehicle and driver information is maintained centrally and synchronized across connected systems, while trip events link on-road activity to operational records.
Customers can submit transport requests through a dedicated portal, or dispatchers can enter them directly. Quotes are calculated using road distance and an itemized breakdown of base rates, cargo charges, fuel, tolls, and empty-return costs.
Dispatchers can review vehicle locations, routes, and available telemetry through the tracking interface. When a vehicle enters a geofenced stop, the platform records its arrival and updates the corresponding trip record.
Drivers start their shift in the mobile app, which reports location in the background. If connectivity drops, positions are stored on the phone and sent when the connection returns.
Reporting brings trip records and vehicle activity together to show distance traveled, time in motion, and stop completion, giving the operations team a way to review daily activity across the fleet.
