Web Design (User Interface & User Experience)

We aim to produce distinct designs coupled with advanced technology to create a Web environment that’s interactive and appropriate to your audience.

Our expertise lies in clearly identifying the parameters of the project, then designing an innovative solution that addresses all of the complex issues related to your brand, communication, competitive differentiation and visual dynamics.

Throughout the design process, we keep our customer in the loop through the use of technology, regular communication and a proven project management methodology. We feel that client participation is of the utmost importance during this phase of the project and hope you do as well.

From corporate identity, to marketing, to customer service, we consider every aspect of our clients’ business to produce an effective online strategy. By doing so, we develop Web sites that attract audiences, build relationships and enable profit growth.

Ideas

Ideas are born in different sizes, but they all grow with time, no matter how big you think they are or can become. New tools and technologies allow your business to give your ideas new dimension and execute them in a profitable manner.

Transforming your ideas into profits is a process in which making the right decision is not just a saying, it is a must-do.Profitability through your Web marketing efforts doesn't happen because of a cute smile or designer clothes. You earn it by implementing a method and process that will help you realize your business strength and turn your vision into reality.

User Experience and User Interface

Design principles alone do not show us how to build cooperative Web sites and applications, they only guide us on the path. These principles are put in practice during every phase - from concept, to design and to development. Our designers strive to layout full-featured applications that run on all modern browsers and integrate the needs and desires of its users.

We start the process by discussing current examples of what works and what does not in a similar industry. Then, we use your feedback to guide the process of designing your site's UI. At every turn, there may be many subtle trade-offs that arise between design and engineering goals. The choices made about these can support the system immensely.

While UI guides the design process, it should not be ignored during any of the project phases:

  • Understanding how people expect technology to guide them and carry out the tasks assigned
  • Designing a user interface specification upfront and then designing the system architecture to support it
  • Observing people using the system under realistic conditions and integrating the findings to smooth out ease-of-use issues

User Experience

User experience in the design phase incorporates most of the above principles to positively impact the final experience a person has with any particular system. User experience design most often defines the path of interactions between a user and an application, whether it is virtual or physical. The app must primarily be designed to support user needs and goals, while also satisfying systems requirements and organizational objectives.

Typical outputs of our project phase 2 with regards to user experience include:

  • Site Audit (usability study of existing assets)
  • Site Flow Charts
  • Navigation Maps
  • User Stories
  • Use Cases
  • Persona (Fictitious users to act out the scenarios)
  • Site Maps and Content Inventory
User Interface

Simple Definition: UI - encompasses everything designed into an application or Web site with which a human being interacts. These items include size (height/width), colors, mouse controls, keyboard controls, the focus of characters, support messages, and how an application program or a Web site invites interaction. Most important, with regards to user interface, is how the system responds to the messages that are given to it from users.
