The New Oceano Palace Resort Website is now built in Drupal by San Diego's premier Drupal Developers

We are proud to announce that the new version of the www.OceanoPalace.com website is live in Drupal 6 and built right here in San Diego. The previous site was antiquated and offered limited control to the site administrator's when it came to updates. The new site has a great CMS built in Drupal and allows for a wide variety of page and content management.

The development of the site was originally requested to be developed using the basic css/javascript/php model until we introduced the client (Roberto) to Drupal as a CMS. Roberto was highly adept at updating their old site with images and text by using Dreamweaver and he believed that continuing along that path for the new site would satisfy the company's needs. However, after intruducing Roberto to Drupal and the benefits of having a site built on a powerful CMS platform, we were able to persuade him to leave the Dreamweaver interface.

The most beneficial aspect for Roberto is that now any member of the Oceano Palace staff can login to the site CMS to make any needed site updates without knowledge of web development and will not require him to be the sole responsible person. This has allowed Roberto to devote more time to his other duties as the hotel's IT manager.
