We at Santex and Digital Telepathy are proud to congratulate the Dishizzle Team on their successful Website launch! The new Website was created to provide food, dish, and restaurant reviews in San Diego. It is built primarily for Foodies and helps them to answer that one enduring simple question... what to eat?

As a self-confessed Foodie in San Diego, I am always caught pondering the perfect dish as I browse the menu. This site is the first of its kind to help identify the "must-have-while-here" specialty. With specific dish reviews for San Diego restaurants it allows for local food lovers to unite on the web.

I am sure you love to eat out as much as I do and on occasion could have used some insider info to help you figure out what to order. Most sites simply allow users to search by restaurant, but who cares if the bathroom was pretty? I want to know what the food is like! This is why I am going to continue to use this unique dish centered site, Dishizzle!

My favorite tool on the site is the My Palette option, which helps me discover the types of food I want to eat based on the tags that I specify. These tags are based on a wide variety of criteria, including: price, distance, rating and type of food. The wizard offers a dynamic filtering system that is one of a kind - once I have narrowed down my options, I can see descriptions and pictures (not the brochure variety, but real pics submitted by real people).

The site also has a rewards system in place for those who share their culinary experiences with the rest of the Foodie community. In exchange for their reviews, participants earn points towards a free meal. Seriously, it just doesn’t get any better! Right now, they’re even running a launch contest - 30 Winners in 30 Days. All you have to do is sign up and review at least one dish to be automatically entered.

Sign-up is easy, just go to the homepage and click the sign-up button in the top right corner and follow the directions. You also have the option to connect Dishizzle to your Facebook account. This way, you can publish your latest discoveries and discuss with your Foodie friends.

This hot new venture is the reality of a group of young local entrepreneurs who conceived this site from chicken scratch on a restaurant napkin.
